At Reverie Organizational Development Specialists, we believe in giving back to our community. Every October, the entire Reverie team participates in our Reverie Gives Back Day. We put away our laptops, pens, and notebooks to come together as a team to GIVE BACK to our community.
This year, Reverie has committed to raising $5,000 by October 20, 2022 for a Chicago-based organization called Digs With Dignity, a 501(c)(3) organization that aspires to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering people with dignity. Digs with Dignity partners with Chicago-based social service agencies to identify those in need of a home and utilizes a warehouse of donated and refurbished furniture and home goods to outfit the homes.
Digs with Dignity works with a variety of individuals and families that have suffered from domestic abuse, are veterans, experienced a sudden job loss, or are dealing with extreme health situations. They give those transitioning from homelessness the opportunity to rebuild their lives by creating and installing personalized, interior designs furnished with up cycled and donated goods sourced from the Chicago community. They turn a house into a home for the individuals they serve!
On Friday, October 21st, Reverie will have the honor of furnishing and decorating a home for a deserving Chicago family transitioning from homelessness. OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $5000 to create a lovely, inviting, and beautifully decorated home for this family. WILL YOU HELP US REACH OUR GOAL?
